One visit, one barrier. The roof void and subfloor come first, because that is where the problems start and where a surface spray never reaches, then the perimeter gets banded: weep holes, eaves, window frames, the bottom course of brick, the switchboard, where the path meets the slab.
South of the Barwon the job changes by street. A 1960s weatherboard off High Street has an open subfloor and gaps at the skirtings. A slab-on-ground house in Armstrong Creek has neither, but sits on ground that was paddock three years ago, so the ant pressure is far higher.
